Ready-to-use Acrylic Skimcoat
MONDO Acrylic Skimcoat SK-3 is a one component ready to use acrylic skim coat paste. MONDO Acrylic Skimcoat SK-3 is easy to apply, eliminates minor masonry surface imperfections and produces a smooth durable surface base for paints. MONDO Acrylic Skimcoat SK-3 can be applied in both exterior and interior walls and ceilings while maintaining good elasticity.

SURFACE PREPARATION
• Ensure that the surface is structurally sound and free of dust, oil, laitance, paint, curing compound, algae and mildew.
• Scrape off loose material and dust with a wire brush.
• Remove algae and mildew with an appropriate cleaner and wash with soap and water.
PRODUCT PREPARATION
MONDO Acrylic Skimcoat SK-3 is a ready to use paste. Do not dilute with water
APPLICATION
• Apply One (1) coat with a stainless steel trowel
• Allow sufficient drying time before applying the second coat in order to prevent drawn off of the previous coat or until required thickness is obtained. Maximum thickness is 0.3-4 mm.
• Use sandpaper to polish the surface. Allow curing time of 24 hours before painting.

STORAGE AND HANDLING
• Keep container closed when not in use.
• Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space.
• Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage.
• In case of spillage absorb with inert materials such as sand.

• Do not add any chemicals and cement
• Not recommended to be applied on floor surfaces
• Do not apply on painted surfaces
• Do not apply on damp or hot substrate
• Do not submerge the product
• Do not apply MONDO Acrylic Skimcoat SK-3 more than 1mm per coat which may result to mud cracking and longer
